21139722_SDo you love to entertain and host dinner parties at home? Give your home entertaining an extra boost with these easy, fun party favor ideas. Even if your dinners are low-key with simple delicious food, your guests will love the extra touch of a take-home gift.

Infused olive oil

Pick your favorite herbs and make homemade infused olive oil. Order mini glass bottles or canning jars and buy a large bottle of plain olive oil. To infuse oil, wash and thoroughly dry herbs before adding to the jar. Cover with oil and allow to infuse for several days in a dry, dim spot. Add a homemade tag to each jar.

Mini bottle of champagne and cookies

Buy enough half bottles of champagne or prosecco (or sparkling cider for non-alcoholic options) and personalize with a ribbon or tag. Bake mini homemade cookies—This is where you can get the kids involved! Then package in cellophane wrapping.

Small jar of gourmet candies

Buy decorative jars with airtight lids. Head to your favorite gourmet candy shop or buy truffles to fill each jar. Write each person’s name on the top of the lid and use as place cards on your dinner table.

Homemade, jarred pesto or marinara

Buy enough canning jars for each guest or couple. Make basil pesto or homemade marinara sauce using ingredients from your garden (if in season). This makes the perfect take-home gift for an Italian-themed dinner party.

Small, potted herb

Purchase mini herb potters, seeds and soil to assemble. Personalize each potted herb gift with your guest’s name and which herb you’ve planted for them. Include a mini note with care instructions for the herb.

Homemade lemonade kit

Buy small baskets or a clear gift bag and assemble 4-5 lemons and package of sugar cubes in each. Include a mini note with instructions for how to make a pitcher of fresh lemonade. If you’re feeling extra fancy, include infused sugar such as lavender or mint.
